alertWarning: Many reports have appeared in the media recently, that have alerted readers to the current trend of the theft of body parts in communites across South Africa. These body parts were taken while the victims are still alive and are used for 'muties' both nationally and internationally.  We recommend taking the following precautions:

  1. Notify the police (even more than one police station) if you become aware of crimes within your community
  2. Do not leave children alone in a car or unattended
  3. Do not make use of an unknown taxi, even if the driver suggests he knows the destination
  4. Check the doors of your car after you have put the alarm on to make sure that they are locked
  5. Have a notification system ready within your neighbourhood that would enable you to call for help when needed
