Umphakathi Okhathazekile (the Concerned Young People of South Africa) is a non-profit organisation which was started by concerned people of South Africa in 2009 and then registered as an NPO in 2010.

The moral decay in our communities caused such great distress to us that we could not keep silent any longer. We have united in taking a stand against the devastation caused by drugs, immorality, HIV/AIDS, human trafficking, crime, prostitution, pornography and abuse, amongst other evils, in all their forms.

WORD
FOR YOU

You Give Them…

But Jesus said to them, “They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.” And they said to Him, “We have here only five loaves and two fish.” He said, “Bring them here to Me.” (Matthew 14:16-18)

The disciples were perplexed. There were five thousand people that had gathered around them and as time went by, they were getting hungry. The only solution the disciples could think of was to send the crowd away in time so that they will be able to purchase food for themselves. However, contrary to their own ideas, Jesus remarks that there is no need to send the crowd away. Then He charges His disciples to provide them with something to eat. One disciple remarked that someone, a child has five loaves and two fish. This child was willing to give his meal away. It was not perfect, and it was all he had. As His disciples handed it over into Jesus’ hands, and He blessed it, it became the perfect meal to feed five thousand people.

God is able to fulfill His purposes, even through a child that is prepared to give his own meal away. Are you prepared to place your life on God’s altar, that others can be blessed?
