The UK has done much needed soul-searching since the smashing of a number of grooming gangs, nearly all South Asian. Police officers, social workers and educators all turned a blind eye to the horrors in a bid to appear politically correct at the time, a huge cost to the victims. The gangs abused scores of teens and then sold them to customers in Manchester. Abdul Aziz, Adil Khan and Qari Abdul Rauf were jailed over sex crimes against teens. The convicts who were all born in Pakistan were ordered by Prime Minister Theresa May to have their citizenship revoked. Sadly, the trio has argued the ruling has breached their human rights to a “family life” and is appealing this decision.
