“Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him” (James 1:12)
Within these words, there is a great promise. If we endure temptation and stand fast, there is a crown of life waiting for us. Choosing God by fleeing to Him every time we are faced with temptations, helps us to grow stronger and to overcome. Temptations demands from us to take a stand against it. God provides us the strength when we flee to Him, and thereby our love for Christ is being revealed.
