“But Naboth said to Ahab, “The Lord forbid that I should give the inheritance of my fathers to you!”
Within these simple words of Naboth to Ahab, lies an answer. He simply replied “The Lord forbid…” God has given him an inheritance, and he will not give it away for anything else in the world. God has given his children also an inheritance, an eternal one. When temptation comes, will you give you easily give yours away, or simply answer “God forbids that I should give the inheritance of my (spiritual) fathers to you”.(1 Kings 21:3)
