I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance. (Luke 15:7)
A prodigal son that returns to his Father, causes great joy in Heaven. Maybe you have the desire to return to your Heavenly Father, but feel to ashamed. You might have committed your life to Him as a child, and somewhere lost your way in the pursuit of your own pleasure and friends. Today you find yourself in a pigsty. Your life is a mess. However, there is a way to return. A way have been prepared. Like the prodigal son say “I have sinned against Heaven and against You, I am not worthy…to be called Your son“. As we confess our sin, the Blood of Christ cleanses us from all sin. This way that has been prepared, cost God the highest price in the Universe. He provided His own Son as an offering on your behalf.
There is this hope: those that repent, Heaven will accept and greatly rejoice.
