For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:37-39)
What a wondrous comfort! Those that have cleansed themselves from sin, having brought their whole life to Him, are rooted in Him. Being rooted in Him, there is nothing in this present world that can separate us from His love through Christ Jesus. The only thing that can separate us from Him is if we keep sin hidden in our hearts. However, the moment sin enters to destroy our relationship with Him – Christ is there to flee to. If we confess our sin, He is faithful and just to forgive our sin and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.What a wondrous comfort!
