But He said, “more than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!” (Luke 11:28)
How wonderful are these words of Christ. Those are blessed who hear God’s word and then keep it. Hearing God’s word, it is being thought upon, pondered upon and then when the practical test in life comes, those that have kept it, will keep to it and act accordingly. It is so easy to speak, but to keep to God’s word, means to live a scriptural life. Mathew 5 & 6 provides God’s instructions for every day life. Oh may we not only hear but adhere to His instructions, because in that our love for God becomes evident, and our lives yield an abundant harvest.
