… “and His disciples came up to show Him the building of the temple. And Jesus said to them, “Do you not see all these things? Assuredly, I say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon another, that shall not be thrown down.” (Matt 24:2)
As the disciples drew near Jerusalem, they wanted to show Him the temple building. Jesus focus, however was on something that his disciples did not see. The temple building was, as majestic as it was, only temporarily, a building built with human hands. Jesus was busy in building His eternal temple with living stones, living letters of changed lives. What do you see, when you look at things?
The pure in heart will see God.
