God’S Sovereignity

Saying, Father, if you be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but yours be done. (Luke 22:42)

Within these words, lies Jesus’ total submission to the will of the Father. He had done nothing wrong, yet he had to bear the punishment of the whole world on him. Seeing all the sins of the world filling this cup, he felt urged to push it aside. Yet, He had to drink it to the bottom. He agreed. If our Redeemer was willing to pay such a great price, shall we not also yield our all to Him?
