Wait!

Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the Lord. (Ps 27:14)

Within these verses of David, he shares with us a great secret. We should wait on God and have good courage. To wait requires discipline. To wait is attached to a promise. Abraham had to wait, and so did Moses and David. God in his infinite wisdom has appointed a time. As we wait on Him, our hearts are being strengthened by Him. This is a wonderful promise. Let us, therefore, wait on Him!
