In 2015 I moved to Johannesburg looking for work but could not find a job. I then started dealing drugs to earn an income and dealt in mandrax, heroin and crystal meth.
In the drug trade there is a need to fight over territory, and I became part of a gang that would kill people to take over areas where other drug dealers and gangs were active.
I became known as a hit man and people would approach me and pay me to assassinate people. My friends were all known hit men and armed robbers.
I would have nightmares about the people I had killed, and I would use drugs to lessen the psychological and spiritual effects of having murdered people.

We regularly robbed shops and one day whilst robbing a shop we became involved in a shoot-out with the police. I was shot on that day, and it was then that I decided to flee from Johannesburg.
After I arrived back at home, I realized that that my lifestyle would eventually lead to my death, and I knew then that all that had happened to me was because I had despised God’s grace.
I decided to go to kwaSizabantu Mission as I knew there was an organization there called CYPSA that helped people with their addictions.
After I arrived at CYPSA I started my journey of reconciling with God by confessing my sins. By taking this step, I was forgiven and God transformed me into a new creation.
Today I am employed as a chef and can provide for my family with blessed money – all thanks to the Name above all other Names, Jesus Christ.
