“But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s delicacies, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the chief of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself. Now God had brought Daniel into the favor and goodwill of the chief of the eunuchs.” (Daniel: 1:8-9)
Daniel took his own decision, regardless of what his friends were thinking or the fact that he found himself in a foreign country. Because of his decision, God gave him favor. Maybe you, as a young man are still struggling. Rise up, take your stand and come to God. He is able to help you. Your geography or spiritual location does not hinder God to help you. Where ever you find yourself both physically or spiritually, God is there for you. May the Lord meet your need.
