Surely, He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions. He was bruised for our iniquities; the Chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. (Isaiah 53:4-5)
It is through this terrible suffering of Christ as foretold by Isaiah, that people’s lives are being changed. The judgement of a righteous and Holy God fell on His only Son, Jesus. Have you realized that it was for your sin that the Son of God had to die? If this is what He has done for you, what have you done for Him?
