One thing I have desired of the Lord, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord All the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord And to inquire in His temple. For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock. (Ps 27:4-5)
There are many things that people wish and desire for. However, David states that he only have one desire that he will seek. That is to dwell in God’s house all his days and to hide in Him during difficult times. Everything not fastened on Him, will be shaken. Are you shaken with the world, or do you know of this secret place within Him, where you can hide.
