You have tested my heart; You have visited me in the night; You have tried me and have found nothing; I have purposed that my mouth shall not transgress. (Ps 17:3)
Within this portion, David shares that God had tested him. He tested and tried him. And God found nothing evil. Then David explaines further… he had purposed that his mouth shall not transgress. Howe easily words come from an overflowing heart. If the heart is thankful, praises to God will follow. If the heart is evil, slanderours things will proceed. From the overflow of our lips, the heart is revealed.
