CYPSA visited schools in Gqeberha from 12 – 15 September 2025.
The group split into teams of two with each team visiting two schools per day, this way ensuring that the maximum number of schools and learners could be reached in the area.
The CYPSA men shared firsthand testimonies of how they entered into a life of drug addiction, violence and crime.
They warned learners how their problems had started with the “little things” like lying, disobedience and petty theft and grew into a lifestyle that almost led to their deaths.
The young people were encouraged when those addressing them shared how they were helped by the organization to be set free from their addictions and to live a new life in Jesus Christ.
A meeting with Gqeberha teachers was facilitated on the afternoon of the 13th of September and a parents meeting was held that evening with the CYPSA team addressing parents on various social ills and the roll of parents in assisting their children to navigate the many social ills prevalent in our communities today.
