Offer your bodies. (Rom 12:3)
Within this verse, Paul charges the followers of Christ to offer their bodies to God in this letter to the church in Rome. Rome during the time was ruled by Nero who martyred many Christians. Paul charges the Christians, to look to their bodies as an offering to God. Christ gave up His body for our sins. We in turn may yield our fleshly body to His Holy Spirit to bring hope and healing to the nations. Let us, therefore, be His hands and feet, his mouth and ears in our service in bringing His message of salvation to the whole world.
