He Leads

He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. (Ps 23:2)

The Shepherd knows what his flock needs. He knows the best places to feed his flock. He also knows the places where the waters are still and where his sheep can drink water from the stream. As sheep’s wool can become saturated with water when they drink, they might drown. The Shepherd knows this and therefore leads them to places of quiet waters, where they will be safe. If you find yourself in a difficult spot, why not mending your ways with your Shepherd and trust Him to lead you to the green pastures and still waters?
